UK Government departments expected to pay invoices within 5 days

A recent announcement by Alastair Darling has declared that Government Departments are expected to pay undisputed invoices within 10 days. Central Government departments to aim to pay 80% of undisputed invoices in 5 days, with normal payment terms at 30 days.
