		<description><![CDATA[I agree with your comment, while I am not familiar with all working practices in the Public sector I understand that organisations have deployed special routines to cover their purchase to pay requirements .

I would maintain that electronic communications are more efficient, more accurate and provide better audit trails than the paper based solutions, however in order to implement e-solutions there needs to be an infrastructure in place. Without the right infrastructure and subsequent process changes electronic transactions (and indeed e-Invoicing) can prove to be a challenge. There is no doubt that certain organisations will take time to make the necessary changes, I don&#039;t think that should detract from a long term vision though.

My comments in the previous post related to prompt payment for suppliers. I am sure you would agree that processing an electronic invoice (which can take minutes rather than days) will result in a better chance of suppliers being paid promptly. We will just have to wait for certain organisations to deploy a suitable technical infrastructure.]]></description>
